The President’s Letter
My Dear Friends,
While we cannot predict our future, we can help to create one through our actions. We need to know who we are, our principles and beliefs, and the culture we aspire to. As physicians, I believe that we are healers, leaders, educators, and change agents. That is why MSSNY is so important to me, my practice, and all of us to maintain our professional identity and joy in practicing medicine.

The MSSNY Pulse, delivered directly to your inbox, is a blend of legislative news, MSSNY updates, public health alerts, and information to keep you up to date with the latest in New York healthcare. We have also developed the MSSNY Pulse app that you can download directly to your phone. You will find our legislative victories and challenges here.

Together we have the power to influence and engage in many ways—advocate for yourself, your patients, and your fellow physicians. Learn how to triumph over the stresses of being a physician through gratitude, mindfulness, and forgiveness. Our Committee for Physician Health program is always there for a physician needing confidential consultation and treatment.
