| Dear Colleagues, Your Medical Staff Society is here to assist you with any issue that may arise during this difficult time. Several measures have been taken to maximize resources and to contain the spread of COVID-19 as much as possible. Northwell Health has cancelled all elective cases until 4/15/2020. Please make every effort to carefully review all your elective cases and if cancellation will cause negative impacts on your patients, please contact the Perioperative team directly. Individualized determinations will be made for semi-urgent cases. It is imperative that your clinical judgement is included in these measures to optimize safety for all and especially for our patients. During this time, I will urge you to self-care and use precautions to maintain your personal health as we are at the front line and are needed to maintain the health of all.
